This antique German sugar box is composed of .875 silver and dates to circa 1850 in the Biedermeier style. The box sits on ornately crafted feet and features clam shell relief decoration adorning the front of the box, and atop is a very intricately crafted eagle.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Some minor wear marks to the surfaces in some areas consistent with age and use. Two of the feet show indentations on the bottom and there is no longer and key and the locking mechanism has not been tested.
