About the Item

Art Deco Silver-Plated Tea Strainer by Ravinet d’Enfert, Paris, 1930s An elegant and finely proportioned tea strainer in silver plate (metal blanc), designed in a restrained and architectural Art Deco style during the 1930s. This refined object was produced by the renowned Parisian silversmith Ravinet d’Enfert, active in the Marais district from 1845 to 1982 and celebrated for their high-quality tableware and modernist designs. The strainer features a beautifully balanced form with a perforated bowl, matching drip tray, and an arched handle that allows the strainer to rest securely over a cup or teapot. The clean lines and subtle stepped detailing are characteristic of French Art Deco, combining functionality with understated elegance. A timeless piece suitable for both daily use and display, equally appealing to collectors of Art Deco silver as well as those with an eye for sophisticated table accessories. Wear consistent with age and use.
