About the Item

Rare porcelain coffee service by Manifatuura Ginori in Doccia, Florence, 18th-century era. The service consists of a coffee pot and 12 cups with plate decorated with small landscape views and finished in red. Porcellana Ginori in Doccia was one of the most prestigious porcelain manufacturers in Europe. It was established at the behest of Marquis Carlo Ginori in 1737, in a villa he owned in Doccia (now incorporated into Sesto Fiorentino).
