Grann
Laglye.
This lovely sterling silver four-piece tea set was made by Grann
Laglye of Denmark. The pieces have a three-D flower motif with beads on the finials, handles, and detail by the feet. Retailed by Dana Comp mark. The set dates from the 1940s. The set includes:
Tea pot: Measures 7 1/4" tall, 10" wide, and it weighs 22 ozt.
Hot milk jug: Measures 7 1/4" tall, 6" wide, and it weighs 11.8 ozt.
Creamer: Measures 4" tall, 5" wide, and it weighs 6.1 ozt.
Sugar bowl: Measures 3 3/4" tall, 6 1/2" wide, and it weighs 8.7 ozt.
The pieces are not monogrammed and are in excellent condition. Exceptional!

Grann Laglye was founded by two silversmiths, Johannes Lauritz Grann and Johannes Laglye. They manufactured silver until sold to Toxsvaerd in 1955. Grann and Lagyle were very skilled craftsmen.
