About the Item

This 23-piece series includes: one teapot, six cups with saucers, six side plates, two milk jugs, one sugar bowl with lid, and a serving tray. The design is relatively simple, with functional shapes free from heavy profiling, allowing the floral pattern to take center stage. The teacups and jugs feature gently sweeping, understated handles. The series has a warm, rustic charm and is sought after by collectors of Italian ceramics from the 1980s. The combination of clean, uncomplicated forms with its lively floral decoration makes it equally suited to everyday use and festive tea gatherings. Made of glazed stoneware or porcelain, with the decoration applied by transfer print and then kiln-fired for durability. Pieces are stamped “Ceramica Franco Pozzi Gallarate Italy”, sometimes with the addition “Decoro Cortina”. Measurements: Teapot: H 11.5 × 13.5 cm Tray: H 34 × 14 cm Milk jug: H 11.5 × 9.5 cm Milk jug (small): H 7.5 × 6.5 cm Sugar bowl with lid: H 8.8 × 7.5 cm Cup: H 5.7 × 9.5 cm Plate 1: Ø 17.5 cm Plate 2: Ø 18.8 cm (two plates have hairline glaze cracks on the underside)
