About the Item

Crafted in England circa 1960, this elegant mid-century silverplate service brings refined British tradition to any dining room, breakfast nook, or butler’s pantry. The complete seven-piece ensemble includes a tall coffee pot with wooden handle, a teapot with matching handle, a warming kettle on stand with burner and arched oak handle, a covered sugar bowl with separate lid, a creamer, and a waste bowl. All pieces rest on a magnificent paw-footed serving tray richly chased with scrolling foliage. Each vessel is heavily decorated with embossed floral and leaf motifs, raised borders, sculptural spouts, and graceful scroll handles, giving the set the presence and weight of a fine antique example. The underside of every piece is stamped with the Barker Ellis Silver Company hallmark and “England” for full authenticity. Excellent overall condition commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: Tray 30.25" W x 18" D. Tallest piece 13" H. Smallest 3" H.
