About the Item

Pair of French Restauration Classical 950 silver coffeepots. Each: Ovoid bowl, drum-form neck, and hinged and domed cover with leaf-mounted berry finial. Leaf-wrapped s-scroll spout with horse-head terminal. Stained-wood bracket handle with silver paterae mounts. Tripod with acanthus leaf-mounted paw supports. Ornamental borders. Beading. Marks include Paris fineness stamps (1819-38). Overall dimensions (taller): H 13 x W 8 1/2 x D 4 3/8 in. Total gross weight: 40.5 troy ounces.
