About the Item
A stylish set twelve Austrian secessionist brass cup holders and matching saucers designed by Hans Ofner, a student of Josef Hoffmann (1870-1956) and certainly reflecting his style and design. The cups are slightly boat shaped with openwork geometrical designs to the body with stylish raised loop handles. The saucers are similarly decorated with pierced geometrical designs around the edges. The saucers have impressed ARGENTOR marks along with AS marks and the cups have AS JG impressed marks.
