Hallmarked in London in 1975 by Michael Benstead, this striking Elizabeth II, Sterling Silver three-piece Tea Set is an excellent example of mid-century modern design. The set features a textured lower border and finely judged geometric handles, with the teapot fitted with a contrasting gold-plated finial. Altogether, the set weighs 63.59 troy ounces.
The teapot measures 5.75" (14.5cm) tall, by 11.75" (30cm) from handle to spout, and 6.75" (17cm) deep. The cream jug measures 4.5" (11.5cm) tall, by 6.75" (17cm) from handle to spout, and 5.75" (14.5cm) deep. The sugar bowl measures 3.5" (9cm) tall, by 5" (12.5cm) in diameter.
