About the Item

A delightful antique French soup tureen with pedestal base, imparting elegance to humble soups, stews, or gumbo. This fine soup tureen is handpainted with delicate poppies and other midsummer blooms, while a verdant green trim accents the scrolling handles and lid. Stamped on the base with the Luneville mark.
