About the Item

Glazed stoneware soup tureen from the Feuerkrone factory in West Germany in the 1970s. Simple design and decoration, with a very vintage brown and grey 1970s look directly inspired from the seventies style. It has two handles and a lid, and is fully glazed inside and out, making it easy to wash after use. A practical yet decorative piece for the kitchen or dining room. It is marked underneath with the Feuerkrone (fire crown) and Steinzeug (stoneware) stamps. As this piece was originally fired at a very high temperature, it can also be used in the oven to reheat or cook certain dishes.
