An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver bottle coaster; an addition to ornamental silverware collection.
This exceptional antique George V sterling silver bottle coaster has a plain cylindrical rounded form.
The body of the silver coaster is encircled with embossed girdles, each accented with a band of ribbed decoration.
The upper and lower portions of the body are embellished with applied moulded borders to the rims.
Note: The majority of such bottle coasters have a wooden base; it is a sign of quality when coasters have unlined, solid silver bases.
