We are delighted to offer for sale this very rare circa 1800 Dutch inlaid wine cooler with original brass bucket and single drawer
A rare, collectable and good looking antique which fits well in any setting. This piece has exquisite marquetry inlay all over, the front has a bird sitting in flowers, you then have flowers all over, the handles are oversized wouldn’t look out of place on a grand French bureau
This piece is around 220 years old, as such it has various timber age shrinkage splits, some small losses and so on, if it were in perfect order it wouldn’t be genuine, this piece looks as good as it should with a patina to match, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom
