About the Item
Danish modern paper basket in patinated saddle leather. It´s handmade for the Torben Ørskov design studio ca. 1960s or 1970s.
The paper basket is made from very thick and strong leather and is sewn together with decorative stitches.
The design is inspired by the Austrian designer Carl Auböck but with a more minimalist Scandinavian approach in line with the design of Børge Mogensen, Hans J. Wegner, Bruno Mathsson and Alvar Aalto.
