About the Item
A striking example of Italian midcentury modern design, this pear shaped aluminum ice bucket stands out for its sculptural presence and exceptionally generous scale. Produced in Italy in the late 1960s, it captures the era’s bold and playful approach to form while remaining effortlessly functional.
We have previously had this model, but never before in this remarkably large and rare size, making this example particularly distinctive and highly collectible.
The textured, organic stem crowns the piece and doubles as an elegant handle for lifting the lid, adding both visual drama and tactile appeal. Inside, a white insulated plastic liner helps keep ice cool and ready for serving.
Its impressive presence makes it a true statement piece, ideal for a bar cart, cocktail setting, or as a sculptural accent in a design-conscious interior.
Please note that the metal shows some scratches, as does the interior plastic component.
