Museum-Quality Antique Norwegian Ale Bowl (Staup) - Ytre Sogn, Vestland, ca. 1880-1920 This stunning primitive ale bowl is a superb example of Norwegian Heritage folk art, handcrafted from natural pine and bentwood in the Ytre Sogn tradition. Featuring an intricately carved double horse handle and painted in classic farmhouse blue and red, this rare piece dates to the late 19th/early 20th century. Recently polished and oiled, the bowl retains its beautiful original patina while being in excellent antique condition. A true museum-class collectible that would elevate any rustic cabin, farmhouse, or cottage interior with authentic Scandinavian charm. • Hand-carved circa 1880-1920 • Original farmhouse paint colors • Exceptional craftsmanship • Ready for display or careful use A unique opportunity to own a piece of Norway's drinking tradition and woodcarving heritage.
