Stamped: PATENT PACKAGE CO. NEWARK, NEW JERSEY. PAT'D AUG. 31, 1858. Lightweight hardwood construction. Rare American maker. Great condition for age. Theses Boxes were taken along and used while traveling in covered wagons. An exceptional Americana collectible.
