A museum-quality primitive butter bucket from Telemark, Norway, hand-carved and scorched with intricate details. This rare piece features:
--Original 1800 construction with deeply carved year and initials "ITM"
--Later painted farmhouse red and gifted in 1844 (possibly a wedding gift from parents to daughter, dated on lid with initials "I.T.D.L.")
--Rich scorched decorations covering the entire body
--Multiple uses: kitchen storage, centerpiece, or folk art display
