Rustic antique butter bucket / amber / ambar, hand-crafted from pine wood with original rosemaling / rose painting from Telemark, Norway. Dated 1846 on one side of the handle, and inscription on the other. The deeply carved / engraved initials "H.O.D.J" under add to its unique character.
Museum-quality rustic antique with professional rosemaling, perfect for any farmhouse or cabin interior. A wonderful addition for Norsk or Norwegian heritage collectors.
In good antique condition, with normal age-related wear and minor damages, beautiful RUSTIC patina!
