This hand-crafted antique pine tine box features beautiful rosemaling from Telemark, Norway, and is dated 1869.
Painted by the renowned artist Kjetil Østerholdt from Lunde i Telemark, its entire surface is covered with professional rosemaling designs on a farmhouse green base. A true museum-quality rustic piece, it would be a perfect addition to a farmhouse, cabin, or any Norwegian heritage collection.
It remains in good antique condition with a beautiful rustic patina and normal signs of age. Please note: the lid may not be original and could be from a later period.
