Exceptional 19th century American Tramp Art candle box
We are proud to offer an exceptionally rare example of a mid-19th century handcrafted American Tramp Art Folk Art wall-mounted candle and taper box. All original sections and paint still intact, brass studded decorative finish and brass hinged candle box which opens and closes securely. Traces of original wallpaper backing still in place as shown in the photos provided. A true piece of mid-19th century American Folk Art Tramp Art.

Condition: This item is completely solid in structure and form, aged patina with weathering has taken place across all the surfaces, light scuffs around sections of the wooden box and obvious age with fading of painted surface, its strongly suggested to please review all the photos provided as part of this advert.
