About the Item
Japanese Antique display stand, "Dai" in Japanese, made from thick, single solid root wood slab.
Product of 1940s - 1960s (mid Showa era), estimate from the material and condition.
Overall, the shape is organic with live edge, but the top and bottom area are cut flat and smoothed.
Stable enough to display something heavy / fragile, such as vase.
Can be used as display stand, centerpiece, also display by itself as an art piece for organic, wabi sabi accent to the space.
