A unique antique schwingstock from 1839, used in the traditional processing of flax. This original farm implement is made of solid oak and bears both the initials of the original owner and the date of manufacture. Originating from southern Germany (Franconia). The ornamental design, history, and warm patina make this a very distinctive and decorative object. 71cm high, 20cm wide, 63cm deep.
