A rare and superb pair of rat de cave candleholders, hand-forged in wrought iron with wooden elements, Normandy, France, 18th century. Crafted by hand, featuring the traditional spiral stem mechanism designed to adjust the height of the candle. These pieces stand out for their magnificent original patina, a testament to their age and authenticity. Natural wear and minor irregularities enhance their unique charm. Both candleholders are complete and remain in very good condition. Height 16 and 20 cm.
