About the Item
Beautifully designed large pendant from brass and porcelain.
Depicting a larger Edelweiss and possibly a Forget-me-not (Vergissmeinnicht).
The locket is lidded with a glass window, framed delicately to hold a small treasure.
Made around 1900-1910, likely in Germany.
The antique Greek pattern surrounding the painted porcelain seems to be containing black enamel.
The porcelain inner is bisque and marked ''55''.
It seems to be held by the original black velvet ribbon.
