About the Item
Amazing set of 3 wood working gouges and chisels. Numbered 2 (long), 3 (medium) and 4 (short). Maple pommel on each with a steel tang running through the handle. Each tool also has a brass chappe securing the handle to the steel rod. Beautiful heavy patina on each tool. Engraved with the brand "BLANCHARD". Vergez Blanchard has been making tools in France for over 100 years. Great table top objects.
