Large 20th C. Americana Folk Art Carousel with Painted Farm Animals

Late 20th c., a pair of vibrantly painted wooden flamingo floor sculptures, each with a fish in mouth. One is signed "MW" on the underside. Painted in pink and lilac respectively and both with painted details to resemble feathers. Each flamingo is holding a fish in its beak. Both fish have been painted in contrasting colors to those of the flamingos. The gold painted beaks and legs add an additional element of whimsy to these carved sculptures. They are life size and will be sure to draw attention and likely a smile. They would look great on the deck of a seaside home, as a welcoming pair by a front door, in a child's bedroom or even as a bathroom accent.
