About the Item
Glazed ceramic bowl produced by the Les Archanges workshop in Vallauris around 1960.
Hand-shaped with a subtly asymmetric silhouette, it features a stylized floral design with a grey stem and a vibrant orange-and-yellow blossom. The fine crackle glaze, characteristic of Vallauris craftsmanship during the period, lends the piece a poetic and tactile quality. Each Les Archanges bowl embodies the blend of graphic modernity and spontaneous handwork that defines the Vallauris ceramic movement of the 1950s-60s.
