This small French mortar was sourced in the south of France. It's an iconic and traditional kitchen object which is found all over France. Its traditional use was and still is to grind seeds and herbs. This kitchen mortar will instantly add a touch of provencal flair to your kitchen. Its petit size of 20cm in Diameter and 18cm in height makes this mortar the perfect size to be placed on an open shelf or cupboard. What makes this mortar unique, is its open pore surface and dark black color. The Mortar comes with a stone Pestel.
