About the Item
Beautiful early 20th century French decoy duck. Hand carved in wood and hand painted, the decoy has a movable head that can be turned left or right, it is also mounted on a long iron pole which allowed it to be easily pushed into the ground wherever it was required to be.
It has been mounted on a wooden base for display, but it is possible to detach the iron rod from the base should you wish to.
Total Height 69cm, width 25cm. Duck width 7.5cm. Base is 20cm square.
