About the Item
These two fine egg cups are excellent examples of Trench Art from World War 1 . Expertly worked from two smaller shell casings . Crafted from US shell casings by a member of the British Army Medical Corps. This type of piece was crafted to utilise skill and while away the hours in the trenches of WW1. The sculptural quality is e exceptional however historically these pieces are significant.
