Grand miroir Napoléon III patiné XIXème
Ce somptueux miroir de grande taille incarne avec finesse l’élégance et la rigueur du style Louis XVI, revisité au XIXe siècle avec une patine subtile qui lui confère tout le charme d’une pièce d’époque. Son encadrement en bois sculpté présente un décor raffiné de perles, rubans croisés et feuilles d’acanthe, typiques du vocabulaire ornemental néoclassique du XVIIIe siècle.
Au sommet, le fronton se distingue par un riche décor en plâtre moulé, représentant un délicat nœud à rubans surmontant un cartouche central, encadré de feuillages stylisés. Ce travail en plâtre, finement exécuté, vient souligner le raffinement du miroir et lui apporte une touche décorative supplémentaire, tout en légèreté et en élégance.
