About the Item

Antique Swedish chest / trunk dated 1833 from Ranea Norrbotten, Northern Sweden. Beautiful original paint with flowers outside the Chest . Interior with original hand painted inscription to the lid. Dated AGAD 1833 inside. This is probably a wedding gift. Original lock is not working. The key is for decorative purposes. Hardware is original to the piece. Each side of the chest has large iron bail handle. Original decorative painted iron strap work. Made in painted pine.
