Victorian era gilded metal wedding pin cushion, C.1900 Hand made twisted and gilded sheet metal chair pin cushion Wedding cushions were in high style during the Victorian period. A popular wedding gift for the new bride and groom. This one is made from gilded sheet metal and wire. A few mirrors are embedded in the metal, and at the top of the back of the chair is a bird. Measures: 12" wide x 8" deep x 8" high at the seat x 13" high at the back Good antique condition with some distress to the fabric and frame (see all images).
