About the Item
A fine vintage Navajo belt.
By Jimmy Herald.
Consisting of a leather belt with sterling silver 'conchos' (shells) and turquoise accents. The slides are copper backed and there are 18 conchos in total with 9 bowtie shaped, 8 oval shaped, and 1 as the buckle.
(The quality of the leather is fair. Probably used by Jimmy Herald because it was what was available at the time.)
There have been 3 holes added for sizing to the leather.
Signed to the reverse of the buckle for Jimmy Herald and Sterling.
Simply a wonderful Navajo concho belt!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There is some wear to the leather, and several additional sizing holes have been crudely added to the belt. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine
light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
