An extraordinary example of a vintage Zuni inlaid and sterling silver ranger buckle set, circa 1970s.
This collectable Zuni set is inlaid with turquoise, jet, Mother-of-Pearl, spiny oyster shell, and sugilite. The sterling silver work consists of rope design and is stamped
"LM."
The buckle part of the set measures 1.75 inches L. x 1.50` inches W., each of the keepers measure approximately 7/8 inches L. x .5 inches H. x .3/8 inches W., and the end tip measures approximately 1.25 inches L. x .75 inches W. This ranger buckle set can fit a belt width of up to 1 inch. The buckle set weight is 34.1 grams.
The Ranger Buckle Set is accompanied by an original vintage Barry Kieselstein Cord snakeskin belt. The belt measures 45 inches L. overall x 1 inch W.
This set has remained in the same family since it was originally purchased in 1972.
