Antique Sailor's Folk Art Woolie of a Single Decker Ship of the Line, circa 1850, a sailor's folk art woolwork picture handcrafted of woolen yarn in a bold variety of stitches, depicting a single gun deck ship of the line under full sail, with gold beads as cannon barrels in the open gunports, sailing on dramatic blue and white choppy seas under an ivory sky, mounted in original bird's eye maple frame. A beauty. Woolie remains in very good condition with strong colors and very few pulls to the yarn. Measures: 13-3/4 in H x 17-3/4 in W
