19th Century Faux Grain Painted Chest, second half 19th Century, a diminutive six board chest with excellent quality original vinegar grain painted finish in a faux yellow pine pattern. The choice of wood to emulate suggests that this may be a Southern piece. The chest and painted finish both remain in excellent condition... an exceptionally lovely and clean chest.
