Wonderful toleware chest
Not sure what the original function was. No evidence to suggest it was a coal bin.
Cream painted with gilt decoration in neoclassical style. Original paint.
Black Japanned interior
Countryhouse condition. Structurally sound.
Brass repoussee lion mask handles. ( Possibly replaced )
Small brass plate with the makers mark of Henry Loveridge, Wolverhampton. ( shown in last image )
