About the Item
A very sensual, striking and dream-like painting by celebrated Puerto Rican Artist Quetzalcoatl (b. 1971). An otherworldly Woman’s face in Green peers out with a searching gaze with many lipstick marks and abstract dollops of paint in black, white and red against a simple brown painted background. A major work by a superb artist full of optimism and enthusiasm. Signed lower right corner and the tile, Year and signature on the verso. Unframed.
The Painting measures 72” wide by 60” high by 1.25” deep.
Condition: The overall condition is very good with a slight canvas split on the top left corner and a dimple to the canvas on the upper right brown background which do not detract from the amazing and dramatic presentation.
