A wonderfully decorative Italian early 19th century Neo-Classical st. Gouache and Giltwood painting. This charming rectangular shaped Gouache is matted within its original mottled Giltwood frame and showcases a classically dressed seated maiden with her dress flowing in the wind. The stunning maiden is handing a flower to a cherub standing proudly in her lap. They are both on the ground with a basket filled with flowers and a vanity mirror laying besides it. The tan and off white colored scene has a beautiful light blue background.
