JOHN R. WATTS (Unknown/Unidentified Artist) - Folk art watercolor and gouache landscape painting on paper - unframed - twice signed and dated lower right (one with applied paper stamp and over painting) - United States (likely) - circa 1890.
Excellent antique condition - minor paint loss and crackle along left side (as photographed) - no restoration - toning to the paper from a previous framing - wrinkles and yellowing adhesive and tape to the back of the painting - unframed - signs of age and use.
Painting Size/Dimensions - Small - 7 1/2" (19 cm.) Wide x 5 3/4" (14.5 cm.) High.
