About the Item
Sotto il titolo Animal house, che richiama il famoso film ma con il
quale non centra, Naka ha raccolto una serie di opere dove l’animale è
protagonista in un contesto antropico.
Il principio si è concretizzato su una grande tela, Octopussy dove un
ritratto su commissione convive in un interno assieme a un polipo.
A seguire altre tele, dove i ritratti sono ad animali che convivono con
persone nelle loro abitazioni.
Da questi lavori l’idea che la House da contenitore, viceversa sia
contenuta dal corpo degli stessi animali.
Così si sono concretizzate le piccole, per adesso, realizzazioni 3D in
resina assemblate con case di faggio, colorate omogeneamente con
svariate tinte.
