About the Item

Hand made primitive red and black painted pine box. The piece features solid pine six board construction, iron hinges and black painted bands on the bottom portion of the box. Good overall condition with nice wear and patina due to age and use. Overall distressed finish. No major visible splits to the wood or warping of the top board. Color fade and oxidation. Some pitting to the iron hinges. Children's scribbling on the interior. Opens and closes easily. The overall approximate dimensions of the box are 7.75" deep x 12.13" wide x 6.38" high.
