About the Item
Several features make this Caesar's Crown quilt a real standout. It is well pieced and quilted. Having the blocks abut one another creates four leaf clovers in the white off blocks. The use of four colors, that blend well together, adds depth to the pattern. The border is an unusual, elegant printed fabric. Not least of all is the large size. The quilt measures 92" x 102". It has been professionally laundered. The front is in immaculate condition but browning remains on the back. It does not show through. Made circa 1850.
