1960s Abstract Sculpture believed to be by Matthew Strumor is a medium-sized metal artwork from the Post-War period. This handmade sculpture features a geometric cubist design in the Brutalist style, painted a gold tone reflecting the industrial subject and artistic theme of the era. This studio piece was crafted in the United States with metalwork techniques, a unique piece that stands at 26.5 inches in height and 10 inches in width, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship and artistic vision of the time. Very heavy piece. Perfect for collectors of abstract art and those interested in the history of American sculpture. Came out of a south Florida collection of industrial sculptures believed to be from the Matthew and Shirley Strumor House, Tavernier FL designed by architect Dan Duckham, see photos of the house.
