Please view our video.
This simple yet elaborate antique american folk art pyrography arts and crafts period wooden chest possesses canted sides and legs and is highly detailed and was hand crafted of pine wood. It had been carefully hand burned and vibrantly painted with unusually seen American naturalistic symbols.
A unique and attractive one-of-a-kind antique folk art work of art circa early 20th century .
Possibly attributed to artisan Charles M. Richter who crafted , pyrographed, and signed a similar painted and pyrography chest in 1907 (please view last two photographs).
This all original work of art is finely hand incised and hand stained using pyrographic technique. The resulting warm honey brown color of its finish and brilliant colors enhance its desirability and value. No handles are present.
The craftsmanship and details are superb.
