About the Item

Rare and unusual late 19th/early 20th century antique carved wooden folk art male figure from a small fishing town on the east coast of the United States. The wooden figure is carved from a single piece of wood and depicts a naively carved man with his hair slicked back, dressed in slacks with a belt and sandals and appears to be wearing long, fishmonger style gloves. A wonderfully unique presence and a worthy addition to any home interior.
