Charming 1920s Wooden Fireman Sculpture, Charming Folk Art painted wooden statue of a pre-war of a fireman, A great little piece he is in sound condition, he has had a repair to his hat and there is a small piece of his right hand missing, it seems he was probably holding a hose end in his right hand and there is a hollow in his left hand that could have accommodated the tube of a hose Firefighter engineer fireman or fire chief, with helmet boots and a handsome moustache, some wear to the old paint but it is original and has not been overpainted Our Brave Hero is 38” tall and stands on a 10 square plinth TKW106.
