Large 1920s plaster figure of the seated blacksmith, Le Travail A charming piece Folk Art, a painted statue of the famous blacksmith, known as “Le Travail” A wonderful and large piece is truly 3 dimensional and looks good from all sides The blacksmith is seated in contemplation A great piece he is in good aged condition with a little chipping to the paint at the back on the base The blacksmith is 31” high and 16” x 19” at the base GB169.
